About the Role:
We are seeking a curious and creative AI Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts that power our AI-driven experiences. You will work closely with the product and engineering team to craft natural language prompts that guide LLMs (like GPT-4) to generate high-quality, personalized outputs in areas like career track assessment, recommendation letter assistance, or mock interviews. 

Responsibilities:

• Design and refine effective prompts for various AI use cases across the DreamCollege.ai platform
  
  

• Conduct experiments with prompt variations to improve accuracy, tone, and relevance of AI responses
  
  

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and education experts to ensure outputs align with user goals
  
  

• Analyze model behavior and implement prompt engineering best practices for consistency and personalization
  
  

• Build prompt workflows and support multi-step conversations with context memory
  
  

• Stay up to date with the latest in LLM capabilities, tools, and best practices
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong interest or experience in working with Generative AI platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, DeepSeek)
  
  

• Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and audience
  
  

• Logical thinker with a knack for translating product requirements into natural language logic
  
  

• Experience with Python, JSON, or AI APIs (optional but a plus)
  
  

• Self-starter who enjoys experimentation and iteration
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in computer science, data science, linguistics, or education technology
  
  

• Experience working with prompt chaining, few-shot learning, or fine-tuning
  
  

• Familiarity with student-facing tools, especially in edtech or college counseling
