Position Title: High School Student College Admission Coach

What You’ll Do

As a High School Student College Admission Coach, you will mentor and guide younger high school students who will apply to college in the next three years. Your insights, experience, and advice will help students strengthen their applications, choose the right colleges, and feel more confident about the admissions process. You will also teach students how to effectively use DreamCollege.ai for their college application journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Mentoring Younger Students: Share your college application journey, including strategies for building a strong profile, selecting the right schools, and crafting compelling essays.

• Providing College Application Guidance: Help students understand application deadlines, requirements, and best practices.

• Teaching Students to Use DreamCollege.ai: Guide students in utilizing DreamCollege.ai’s tools for major recommendations, college research, essay writing, extracurricular recommendations, and more.

• Sharing Insights on Extracurriculars & Leadership: Guide students in selecting extracurricular activities that align with their interests and college goals.

Who You Are

We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated high school students who have already been admitted to college for the year 2025 and are eager to help others achieve their college goals.

Qualifications:

• High school senior or recent graduate (Class of 2025) admitted to a college.

• Passionate about mentoring and guiding younger students.

• Strong understanding of the college application process.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Comfortable conducting virtual meetings or chat-based mentoring.

• Detail-oriented and able to provide thoughtful, constructive feedback.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience in peer tutoring, mentorship, or leadership roles.

• Knowledge of financial aid, scholarships, or SAT/ACT prep.

• Familiarity with AI tools or college counseling platforms.

• Willingness to share personal experiences and insights with mentees.
