It all started with one determined mom who saw just how overwhelming and inequitable the college admissions process had become, even for the most accomplished students.
Julia Liang, a Cornell MBA graduate and technology executive, experienced the stress, uncertainty, and rising costs firsthand while guiding her daughter, a top 1% student at a competitive North Texas public high school, through admissions.
She wondered: “If it’s this hard for us, what about families without access to expert guidance?”
