DreamCollege.ai is seeking a motivated and creative AI Product Innovation Intern to support product research, user experience research, feature design, and AI-powered product innovation.
This internship is ideal for students interested in product management, user experience, AI applications, educational technology, college admissions, and startup innovation. The intern will work closely with the DreamCollege.ai leadership and product team to research user needs, evaluate product features, gather feedback, and help shape new product ideas that improve the student and counselor experience.
Research student, parent, counselor, and school needs in college and career planning.
Study competitor products in EdTech, college admissions, career discovery, and AI advising.
Test DreamCollege.ai product features and provide feedback on usability, clarity, and user experience.
Help collect and summarize feedback from students, parents, and counselors.
Support brainstorming for new AI-powered product features.
Help define user journeys, feature ideas, and product improvement recommendations.
Review AI-generated outputs and suggest ways to improve personalization, clarity, and usefulness.
Support product documentation, feature notes, and simple product requirement drafts.
Contribute ideas for improving student engagement, dashboard design, roadmap planning, and counselor workflow.
We are looking for candidates who are:
Current college or rising high school students
Interested in AI, EdTech, product innovation, UX research, or college and career planning.
Strong critical thinkers who enjoy solving real user problems.
Good communicators who can write clearly and summarize ideas effectively.
Curious, detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn.
Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid startup environment.
Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
Interest in product management, UX design, education, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
Basic understanding of user research, surveys, interviews, or product testing.
Strong writing, research, or presentation skills.
Experience with college admissions, student advising, or career planning is a plus.

The ideal candidate is curious, thoughtful, and excited about using AI to help students. You do not need deep technical experience, but you should enjoy research, product thinking, user feedback, and creative problem-solving.
